BHS- Where you want to go, if you love to write!
So I Felt as though this is a subject that must be talked about, anyway, touchy subjects, what are they? In my own words they are things that people do not want to tell people or they are not generally meant to be talked about. Some examples that I can think about are: Bullying, Depression, Relationships, and it gets worse. But let’s say a close friend of yours confides in you about a situation, if it is something that you may be able to help with, by all means you should help. If it is a bullying situation it does not have as many repercussions as an abuse situation would. Now this brings me to the main topic again, is it the right thing to tell a teacher? In a family situation, it will take your own judgement for if it will make the situation better or worse, for example if an issue is simply in the past and is not happening anymore you can only really comfort your friend. But with something that is still going on, like if abuse is going on that is when you intervene. Now, with a different situation, molestation or rape, which I am aware I should not be talking about but I wanted to talk about how bad it can be, if someone was molested it is in the past and you can only comfort them, but then there’s the argument that this person is still out there, is it the right thing to do? Once again, like in every other situation, use your own judgement.
